Real Estate is a second career for Karen who came to Houston for an Accounting opportunity with an oil services company. She received her CPA certification, and chose to remain in private accounting and enjoyed a very successful career. After 13 years with her last position, Karen decided it was time for a change. She wanted to interact more with people and "get out from behind a desk". She decided to pursue real estate and finds it extremely satisfying to meet new people practically every day. "Buying or selling a home can be exciting", says Karen, "and I enjoy helping people through the process.

" A Houston resident for over 25 years, Karen and her husband recently became "empty nesters" as their youngest started college. To start this new chapter of their lives, they recently moved from Memorial to their new home "inside the Loop". "We love the location", says Karen, who enjoys walking to the shops and restaurants close by. In her spare time, Karen enjoys the theater, tennis, skiing and travel.
