The Memorial area is popular with residents because of its beautiful forest canopy, over-sized lots and acreage, outstanding school system, world-class shopping and easy access to I-10 and Sam Houston Toll Way (Beltway 8).
Memorial offers a wide variety of home styles ranging from luxury estate properties, to charming original homes, to
 |
striking new construction.
The Memorial area extends from Loop 610 West to Hwy 6 and from I-10 (Katy Freeway) South to the historic Buffalo Bayou. (There are some exceptions, Peggy will be happy to give you the details.)
Within Memorial (and located about 10 miles west of
downtown Houston), are the ever-popular Memorial Villages consisting of: Hunters Creek Village, Piney Point Village, Hedwig Village and Bunker Hill Village. The Villages are cities within a city. They are continually in high demand among Houston residents as well as those relocating to our city. |
|
Founded in the 1950s, the Memorial Villages have their own local governments and city services. Large lots (most ½ or 1 acre in size), beautiful trees and the highly acclaimed Spring Branch Independent School District attract many of its residents. Residential real estate here ranges from modest ranch style to opulent luxury homes. The appeal for the villages is so high that in recent years, older homes are being extensively renovated or torn down to make way for new construction with luxury amenities befitting of today’s lifestyle.
Single family homes, gated garden homes, townhomes and high rise condos are available in this area. |
